• Question: How different is Cork from New Orleans?

      It’s quite different – Cork is a much smaller city for one. An interesting fact is that they both have international jazz festivals! New Orleans is known for being a “melting pot” where lots of cultures come together. While Cork is smaller, it’s still very international in my experience, particularly in the university where I work. I’d say the main difference is in the climate! While both places are very humid, New Orleans is a LOT warmer. It’s regularly over 30 degrees in the summer.
