• Question: what is the most geologically interesting place you've ever visited?

      This one is a tricky one… There are so many beautiful and interesting places. I think I will say Japan, because this country has many geological interests including volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, and structures that I am interested in into the ocean near the Japanese coasts. Geology is everywhere in Japan.

      That said, a second geologically very interesting place I have visited recently is the Giant’s Causeway in the North of Ireland. These columns of solidified magma (basalt) are just incredible! o_o
