• Question: How did you know what type of science you wanted to do?

      Hey Anna, good question. For a long time I wasn’t sure! I went to UCD to do Science and luckily they structure the course so that you can do general science for the first two years and then specialise for 3rd and 4th year. So I got to try out a lot of different types of science and different courses that let me narrow down to what suited me best and what I liked the most!
      That ended up being Pharmacology for me, which is the study of drugs and diseases really. But my PhD is now in Neuroscience/Genetics. So I’m even still just figuring it out!
